Ghanaian vocalist Moliy and producer Silent Addy have reached another major milestone in the United States with the remix of their track “Shake It to the Max (Fly)” featuring Jamaican stars Shenseea and Skillibeng, which was officially certified Gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) on February 23, 2026.

The achievement signifies that the remix has moved more than 500,000 combined sales and streaming units in the U.S., earning Moliy, Shenseea, and Skillibeng each a second RIAA Gold accolade in their careers.

Moliy’s earlier success includes the multi-Platinum hit Sad Girlz Luv Money with Amaarae, while Skillibeng first earned Gold through his work on Tyla and Gunna’s Jump and Shenseea via her appearance on Kanye West’s Pure Souls. For Silent Addy — who co-produced the remix alongside Disco Neil under the Bashment Sound banner — this marks his first RIAA certification.

Originally released on February 21, 2025, the remix took off after sparking a viral dance craze on TikTok, helping the song rise to No. 44 on the Billboard Hot 100 and claim the top spot on the U.S. Afrobeats Songs chart — a first-ever No. 1 on that list for Moliy and Silent Addy, and another for Skillibeng and Shenseea.

In a previous interview, Silent Addy described the record’s foundation as rooted in dancehall, even as it crossed into Afrobeats categories on the charts due to Moliy’s African musical influence and global trends.

The official music video, shot across Ghana and Jamaica and directed by Fernando Hevia, has contributed to the record’s wide reach, now racking up hundreds of millions of views.

Internationally, “Shake It to the Max (Fly)” has also been certified Gold in the UK and Greece, reflecting its broad appeal beyond North America.
