XXXTentacion Suspected Murderer Arrested, 22-y-o Dedrick Devonshay Williams

A 22-year-old man suspected to be the shooter involved in rap star XXXTentacion’s murder has been arrested and charged said authorities in Florida on Thursday.

The suspect has been identified as 22-year-old Dedrick Devonshay Williams, of Pompano Beach.

He was arrested shortly before 7 pm on Wednesday afternoon, reported the Broward Sheriff’s Office in a press release sent out Thursday morning.

The 20-year-old Jamaican-American rapper whose real name is Jahseh Dwayne Onfroy, who went by the stage name pronounced “Ex Ex Ex ten-ta-see-YAWN,” was shot dead in his luxury motor car on Monday as he made his way from a motorcycle dealership near Fort Lauderdale.

Reports are that the young rapper was ambushed by two suspects, one wearing a red mask.

Onfroy’s’ attorney, David Bogenschutz, expressed that the late rapper had made a visit to the bank earlier to make a withdrawal to possibly purchase the motorcycle, so the shooting might have been based on a robbery.

The suspect, Williams is charged with first-degree murder without premeditation, a probation violation and for travelling without a valid driver’s license.
