Two Men Crash and Died in Hanover along the Point Hill Main Road
Two men died as a result of injuries they sustained in a motor vehicle accident in Hanover on Tuesday evening.
The deceased have been identified as 22-year-old Rashard Johnson of Burn Savanna district, Westmoreland and 19-year-old Brandon Parkinson of Orange Bay, Hanover.
Reports are that Johnson was driving a Toyota motor car along the Point Hill main road in Hanover when on reaching a section of the road, in the vicinity of the Grand Palladium hotel, he lost control of the vehicle which ran across the road and slammed into a wall.
The two occupants of the vehicle sustained multiple injuries and were taken to hospital where Johnson was pronounced dead. Parkinson, who was admitted in a serious condition, later succumbed to his injuries.
The Hanover police are investigating.
