Two Man Shot Dead, One Injured in Gregory Park, St Catherine Attack
The police are now monitoring the community of Gregory Park very closely, following a shooting incident involving three men on Monday afternoon, leading into Tuesday morning.
The police have reported an increase in violent activities in the area, with the most recent incident seeing two men shot dead and a third, shot and injured.
Reports are that one of the attacks took place in the community at approximately 2 pm Monday afternoon, which left a 25-year-old man hospitalized after being shot several times while riding his bicycle on Hatfield Avenue.
A second shooting transpired just moments after 11 pm which took the life of 44-year-old Tiler, Anthony Murray. It is understood that Murray received a phone call while at his home, and stepped outside for unknown reasons when he was attacked and killed. He was shot several times in his head, leaving him dead on the spot.
While the police were on the crime scene processing for leads, a third shooting occurred which took the life of 56-year-old Construction Worker Leonard Findley, who was found in a pool of his own blood.
According to Superintendent Leighton Grey, who is the head of Operations for the St. Catherine South Police, it is his belief that all three crimes were committed by the same perpetrators.
Investigations are currently underway.
