Dancehall entertainer Munga Honorable was involved in a fatal car accident along the Mandela Highway on Saturday morning.
Reports are that the accident which occurred in the vicinity of Ferry in St Catherine, took the life of a female Canadian resident who was a passenger in one of the vehicles involved in the three-car accident.
The Communications Unit of the Jamaica Constabulary Force has confirmed the passing of 26-year-old Tashana Cumbermac.
Munga; real name Damion Rhoden, was driving a white Suzuki Vitara which ran into the columns, partitioning the busy roadway which is under construction.
The entertainer was taken to the hospital where he is admitted in stable condition.
The incident is reported to have taken place around 5:50 am Saturday morning after the driver of a Totota Axio motor car lost control of his vehicle, which eventually ran into the Vitara being driven by Munga, causing it to crash into a bus in which the Canadian female was travelling in.
The injured people were rushed to hospital where Cumbermac was pronounced dead and Munga and the driver of the Axio admitted.
