Man Shot Dead in May Pen’s Town Centre by Gunman
The violence in May Pen Clarendon continues to heighten, with the latest shooting death of a man in the in the bus park taken place on Monday, June 25.
Reports are that at approximately 2:40 pm, loud explosions were heard by persons conducting business in the vicinity of the May Pen bus park who alerted the police.
Upon the arrival of a police unit, the body of an unidentified man was found in a pool of his own blood.
He was taken to the hospital where he was confirmed dead.
The police have launched a probe to determine the motive and identity of the perpetrators.
It was only a week ago when six persons were also shot and injured during a shooting close to the vicinity of Monday’s shooting.
The following day, a man was shot and killed while at his house in Cow Pond in the parish.
On Saturday, six persons were shot and injured during a gun attack in the town’s market.
A day after, on Sunday, a man was killed at his home in Cow Pond district, May Pen.
