Man Killed Two With Machete Shot Dead by Police in Hanover
A machete wielder was shot and killed on Tuesday morning during a confrontation with the Hanover police for allegedly chopping a man to death just two days after he reportedly beheaded his cousin.
He was identified as 30-yr-old Keron Watson of Cascade, Hanover.
According to reports, on Monday at approximately 9:30 pm, Watson hacked Howard Ellis to death, a 45-yr-old in the Cascade community.
A team of police officers reportedly went to Watson’s home on Tuesday morning in search of him, when he allegedly attacked them using a knife to inflict wounds to the head and hand of an inspector.
He was then shot and injured by the police who took him to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
A probe has commenced by the Independent Commission of Investigation.
25-yr-old Keniel Hall of Rejoin district, Hanover visited Watson on Saturday at his Cascade home, an altercation developed between them and Hall was chopped multiple times before his head was severed.
Watson reportedly fled the scene and was being sought by the police.
