Man Crash and Died Along The PJ Patterson Highway in Old Harbour, St Catherine
The police are now investigating to determine the circumstances which led to an accident along the PJ Patterson Highway in Old Harbour, St Catherine on Thursday, which claimed the life of one man and injured two others.
The deceased has been identified as 23-year-old Dorren Baker who was a forklift operator of Seaforth in St Thomas.
According to reports from the investigators assigned to the St Catherine South Police Division, the accident occurred at approximately 9:00 am, while Baker was traveling towards May Pen in his Mitsubishi Gallant.
Baker reportedly lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a parked Toyota Hiace minibus.
The driver of the minibus, another man and Baker were taken to the hospital where Baker succumbed to his injuries.
The minibus driver received medical attention and was sent home while the other was admitted to the hospital.
The police are still carrying out their investigations.
