Headless Body Found in Trelawny by a Passer-by on a Dirt Track
The Trelawny police are probing the circumstances that led to the death of an unidentified man whose decapitated and partially decomposed body was discovered in the parish on Friday.
Reports are that about 12:30 p.m., the body was stumbled upon by a passer-by on a dirt track near a bridge in Rock district in the parish.
The police were called and upon their arrival, the partially decomposed corpse with the detached head close by, was discovered.
The body appeared to be that of a slim male who was clad in a black hooded shirt and black pants.
The police are asking anyone who may be able to help identify the body to come forward.
Investigations are being conducted by the Falmouth police.
