Farmer Shot Dead at a Bar in Clarendon by Unknown Assailants
A motive is yet to be established for the shooting death of a farmer at a bar in the rural town of Kellits in upper Clarendon on Friday night.
The deceased man has been identified as 40-year-old Dave Green of Good Hope in the parish.
Reports from the Croft’s Hill police are that about 10:20 p.m., Green was a patron at a bar when he was pounced upon by armed men travelling in a motorcar.
The men opened fire, hitting Green several times.
The police were alerted and the victim was taken to hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Investigations are ongoing into the incident.
