Businesswoman Shot Dead Execution-Style Before University Hospital
A woman was shot and killed by gunmen during a brazen daylight attack close to the University Hospital of the West Indies (UHWI) in Mona, St Andrew on Friday.
The decease has been identified as Rushell Anglin, a 29-year-old business operator and resident of a Kingston address.
Reports are that about 2:30 p.m., the woman was at her place of business that is located close to the UHWI, when men drove up to the location in a motor vehicle.
Information reaching Loop News is that a man alighted from the vehicle and walked up to the woman and shot her several times.
The explosions sent persons in the area scurrying for safety.
After shooting the woman, the attacker returned to the vehicle in which he came, and the men drove away from the crime scene.
The Half-Way Tree police are now investigating the incident.
