Another Man Shot by Licensed Firearm Holder, Injured Man Crashed Into a Wall
The police are currently probing another shooting involving a licensed firearm holder, this time in Duhaney Park, St Andrew on Sunday, July 8.
According to reports, two men got into an argument while at a property in St Andrew, when a loud explosion was heard by residents.
The police were summoned and upon their arrival, one man was found in his motor vehicle, slumped over suffering from a gunshot wound.
Information collected revealed that the injured man hopped into his vehicle after being shot, in an attempt to drive himself to the hospital. He, however, lost consciousness and ended up crashing into a wall close to the scene of the shooting.
The injured man was taken to the hospital where he is currently admitted for treatment to be administered.
Sources have since revealed that the shooter was a licensed firearm holder, who was also the landlord at the residence where the injured man resides.
The police’s Corporate Communication Unit confirmed the shooting but opted to remain tight-lipped about the details which led to the altercation.
