27-y-o Barber Shot Dead, Body Found Riddled With bullets in Hanover
Detectives from the Hanover police division are probing the killing of a barber whose bullet-riddled body was discovered in his community during the wee hours of Tuesday morning.
The deceased has been identified as 27-year-old Balmane Brown, who was also a sound system selector of Ramble, Hanover.
Reports are that about 12:30am, residents of Ramble heard explosions believed to be gunshots and summoned the police.
Upon their arrival, the police found Brown’s body lying along the roadway with what appeared to be gunshot wounds.
He was pronounced dead by doctors at the Noel Holmes Public General Hospital in Lucea, Hanover’s capital.
No motive has been established for the killing.
The barber reportedly plied his trade in Montego Bay, St James.
