25-y-o Man’s Head Chopped of by an Alleged Relative in Hanover
The Hanover police currently probing the beheading of a man by an alleged family member during a dispute at the home of the attacker in the parish on Saturday.
The dead man has been identified as 25-year-old Keniel Hall of Rejoin district in the parish.
According to police reports from the Lucea station, the incident occurred around 9:00 am after Hall travelled to the home of a relative who he had been calling without answer via telephone.
While at the family members house in River Road district, an altercation ensued between Hall and another, resulting in a machete being used to chop the now deceased man several times, resulting in his head being completely severed.
The police were alerted and arrived to discover the massacred body in a pool of blood.
The suspected relative was not on the scene when the police arrived, but a manhunt has been initiated to lead to his capture.
The crime scene was processed and the body removed.
This recent killing in the parish of Hanover is the second in just a week, with the first being a double murder last Wednesday night, which saw the lives snuffed away from a 91-year-old woman and her 15-year-old grandson, who was shot and killed at their home.
They were identified as Laurel Fray and her grandson, Jessie Spence of Malcolm Heights in Lucea.
