Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith split? Couple set ‘$240 Mil divorce settlement’

After months of speculation, Will Smith and his wife Jada have reportedly split up.

According to US reports, the couple have ended their 17 year marriage and are reaching a top secret divorce settlement.

“For Will and Jada, holding it together these past few years has been tough because their marriage has been on life support for a long time,” a source reportedly told Radar Online.

“They’re exhausted from trying to maintain the facade of a happy union.”

They are expected to announce the split at the end of the summer.

However a source denied the claims to Mirror Online, calling them “total lies”.

Another source close to the family told Gossipcop.com that the marriage was intact, with the report simply “not true.”

According to the site, the couple have already agreed on “a confidential settlement to protect their $240 million fortune, and prepare their kids for the fallout,” the source added.

The couple married in 1997 and have son Jaden, 17, and daughter Willow, 14, together.

Jada previously sparked rumours they were on the rocks when she said she was “too damn young” when she married Will .

And the 43-year-old actress , who tied the knot with the Fresh Prince of Bel Air star in 1997 at the age of 25, admitted she would urge their children not to settle down so early in life.

She also said that she’s nobody’s watcher – referring to hubby Will.

The star appeared on the Howard Stern show in June and asked if she would tell them to do things differently, the Magic Mike XXL star said: “Heck yeah, don’t do it. It did work out, but it worked out in a way that thank God I have a husband who is just a gangster partner because can you imagine taking that road together from 25 to 44?

“Woo! We have travelled. You’ve got to be strong. It takes work.”
