Two Police Officers Found Dead with 24 Hours of Each Other

The communications unit of the Jamaica Constabulary force has revealed information that a hunt is underway for the men responsible for the killing of two police officers, in two separate incidents.

According to reports, the the decomposing body of a member of the police force was found.

The bodies have since been identified to be that of Constable Herbert Hyman and Kevin Thompson.

Investigations revealed that at about 9:00 pm last night the body of 34-year-old Constable Hyman was found on Hamilton Drive in Central Village, St. Catherine.

The officer is said to be attached to the mobile reserve unit of the JCF. He was found with several gunshot wounds to his body.

In another incident, the decomposing body of Constable Thompson was found at his home in greater Portmore, St. Catherine at approximately 6:30 am.

 

The constable was said to have been stationed at the St. Thomas division of the JCF.

No motives has yet been determined for the death of both constables.
