Taxi Driver Shot Dead In St. Catherine – Toyota Probox Stolen
A taxi driver was shot and killed in the vicinity of Charlemont and Whitehouse in St Catherine yesterday – with his body dumped after his vehicle was stolen.
According to the Linstead police who are currently investigating, a resident discovered the lifeless body at around 1:30pm in the middle of the roadway, but it is unclear whether he was shot elsewhere and his body dumped.
He was clad in his taxi operator logo’d shirt but his brand new Toyota Probox motor vehicle was not found on the crime scene.
He as since been identified as Glenford Masters, otherwise called ‘Screechie’ from the parish of St. Catherine.
Police are still gathering information to locate his vehicle and the persons responsible for the murder.
