Farmer Stab’s Man To Death, Caught With Bags of His Coconuts on his Farm

A farmer in Portland has been taken into police custody, arising from the stabbing death of a man who was allegedly caught coming from the farmer’s property with a bag of coconuts on Monday evening.

The incident occurred in Norwich district in the parish.

Dead is Adrian Wynter, aged 21 years.

The suspect, whose identity has been withheld by the police, was reportedly at a house, from which he observed Wynter coming from his property with a bag on his head.

The property owner is said to have confronted Wynter and demanded a search of the bag, which revealed a significant number of coconuts.

The two men were said to have gotten into a heated argument, during which the property owner allegedly pulled a knife and used it to stab Wynter in the abdomen.

The injured man was taken to the Port Antonio Hospital, where he died while undergoing treatment.

The Portland police are investigating the incident.
