17-year-old boy stabbed to death in Mandeville

A 17-year-old boy is dead and another teenager is in custody after a dispute between the two turned deadly when one of the student used a knife to stab the other in the parish of Manchester on Friday.

The dead student has been identified as Geovanni Richards of Great House Drive, Mandeville, Manchester.

Reports are that 10:00 a.m., Richards got in an argument with a 15-year-old boy.

During the heated exchange the younger student pulled a knife and used it stab Richards in the chest.

The injured boy was rushed to hospital where he died while undergoing treatment.
